Our training goes beyond teaching commands in a training room. Dogs work on obedience, impulse control, leash skills, socialization and real-world distractions so that the skills they learn can become part of everyday life.
Our Board & Train dogs stay on our property during their program and receive structured training throughout their stay. When they're ready to go home, we don't simply hand you the leash — we spend dedicated time teaching you how to continue the work.

We do not believe there is any one specific method to dog training that works for every dog. Training here at A Balanced Dog is custom tailored to each individual dog. We know that every dog is different, and what works for one dog may work differently for another. We call ourselves “A Balanced Dog” because that is what we believe dog training is all about- balance.
