We understand how frustrating it can be to struggle with your dogs behavior. Here at A Balanced Dog, we care about both sides of the leash. We care that the human is able to live happily with their dog, so we put our focus in creating clearer communication system between the both of you. This is what allows the relationship between human and dog to grow and be successful.
Board and Train
Our most popular and successful service! Your dog comes to live with us for a more intensive training. Training is custom tailored to the needs of each individual dog. Length is typically between 2-4 weeks depending on age and what we are looking to accomplish.
Private Sessions
Options for owners to bring their dogs to our facility for 1 on 1 training. We also offer travel either to the clients home, or to a local meeting spot such as the park. A session typically lasts an hour and are scheduled as needed.
Group Classes
We offer a variety of different group classes and seminars throughout the year! From puppy classes, to leash walking, to advanced training.
Day Training
Dogs get dropped off in the morning, spend the day with us training and socializing, then get picked up in the evening.

Exclusive Services For Past Clients
We offer boarding for all past clients. There are options for past clients to sign up for refresher training if more extensive training is needed during their stay as well. Boarding must be booked in advance and space can be limited.
We offer day school to past client dogs. Dogs are able to reinforce or further their training, go on hikes & walks, treadmill, and other enrichment activities. It is not a drop in service and space is very limited.
Training doesn’t end once the dog returns home, it is a new lifestyle you will live with your dog. That being said, we know that curve-balls can come up as well as slip ups. This is why we are available for email support to answer any questions after the dog has gone home for life!
